About Sinchan Chatterjee

Sinchan Chatterjee is an alumnus of the English Department of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He is currently pursuing his Masters in English Literature from Jadavpur University. A few of his poems and stories have been published in Indian as well as foreign magazines, journals and newspapers. He has also won a few national awards for creative writing, and has three books to his name, 'In Search of a Story', 'Plato in a Metro' and 'War of the Roses'. Sinchan is a day-dreamer who wishes to idle away his life imagining happy things that may never happen in this bleak, decaying and corrupted world. If there is any hope at all, it is to be found in Art, in stories and poems and movies and dreams.
